DogSpeak
works as a liaison with the organizations training and using service dogs
in order to increase the public profile of these working animals and by
extension their sponsors.
The
Government of Canada, through the New Search and Rescue Initiatives Fund
(NIF), commissioned DogSpeak to create a database of search and rescue
dog and handler teams in the province of Ontario. Unfortunately,
due to unforeseen circumstances and technical problems, this project was
unable to fulfill the requirements for continued NIF funding. We
hope to resolve these issues and apply for further NIF funding to complete
the project in the near future.
DogSpeak
has worked with the Canadian Landmine Foundation to create the communications
strategy and visual identity program for Canine
Demine, in support of the Canadian trained
and sponsored explosive detector dogs working in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The
Ministry of Enterpise, Opportunity and Innovation invited DogSpeak to prepare
a portion of the Festival of Ontario program
for the Golden Jubilee visit of Her Majesty the Queen to Toronto
on October 9, 2002.
